branhamphoto > Most wildlife will not sit still and allow you to walk up within range and allow you to set up your tripod with a large lens and focus him in, adjusting for the right exposure etc.
With a mono pod and Ball and Cup it's easy because it's a lot less cumbersome and much quicker, when you place your mono pod on the ground your camera with ball attached naturally settles into the Cup giving you immediate focusing capability. But Now $59.95
branhamphoto > With the Ball and Cup you can capture a series of wing shots like never before because you are always at the ready.
branhamphoto > Sometimes you have to hold your camera and lens for long periods of time just waiting for your subject to fly in order to capture a spreading wing shot. With the Ball & Cup attached to your mono pod it sure makes waiting easier. it doesn't replace the tripod , but it is much quicker and more flexible.
branhamphoto > If an eagle flies overhead Ken is ready, the monopod doesn't get in the way , he just raises the camera and keeps on shooting, because the monopod isn't attached to the ball and cup.
Since using the ball and cup Ken has captured images of Eagles / ospreys that he never could before. ONLY $59.95

branhamphoto > I'ts wonderful in tight quarters .
branhamphoto > During slow times it's easy to relax , and be completely ready for the next available opportunity
branhamphoto > We gain much sharper images with the ball and cup on the mono pod , than without it.
My preferred method of shooting birds is from a pontoon boat setting down with a short mono-pod between my legs and the camera resting on the ball and cup enabling me to be ready for the next opportunity to capture that quick shot.
branhamphoto > Here is Ken sitting comfortable in a chair using the ball and cup, which would be hard to do with just the stiff monopod alone.

branhamphoto > WE have many shots using the ball and cup this is just one of them . We were photographing from a pontoon boat while enjoying the late evening light, when this heron that was sitting along the shore jumped into the air to fly. The sun caught him but the back of the cove was almost completely dark isolating the bird from the background. The ball and cup kept me on the bird insuring a good shot.
